Design – Katie and Oli – Christening Invitations

Katie and Oli came to us requesting that we create a design for the christening of their children. There was a short turnaround time for designing the invites, but we were provided with a series of example elements which Katie and Oli wanted to see incorporated into the designs. The invites needed to be suitable for the christening of both a baby and an older child, so they could not be too ‘baby-focused’. For the design we worked with some of the elements that Katie and Oli had requested be included, incorporating a Noah’s Ark theme and using an art deco style for the sea. We were given free reign for the colour palette and went with warm tones of blue and brown, with plenty of white space to really highlight the rest of the imagery. Katie and Oli were happy with their design and we wish them all the best with their Christening and hope the invites go down a storm!
