Detangling Dad – Logo Designs

We contacted Nate (Detangling Dad) after he entered our competition, which was ran through the start of June, after we failed to make contact with another of the winners. We are so glad that we did as we have absolutely loved working on his designs, something which he was very much in need of as his own brand is starting to soar. We requested specifics for Nate’s logo based on colour and style preferences and concluded that he needed a design aimed in a style to suit fathers who are learning to style their daughters’ hair; and potentially one which would work great on a t-shirt. Nate really wanted to move away from the girly style and overly feminine colours, but apart from that we were given free reign over the project. After supplying an initial six draft logo designs (we just couldn’t stick to five!) for Nate to look over, we were given some amazing feedback about how great our designs looked. Nate chose a pink comb design with his brand name encased below it in a box, but requested this in a greyscale version to appeal more to Dad’s. We provided him with this and a series of copies of the logo in multiple colours so that he can benefit from these when using them for different purposes; with particular focus on variations across his upcoming t-shirt range.
